Scientists have recently been successful in their attempt to "resurrect" extinct species by using reverse engineering, or in other words selective breeding. The Quagga is an animal similar to a Zebra that went extinct over 100 years ago. It has stripes on the front of its body and the back half is brown. Eric Harley, leader of the Quagga Project, says that each new generation of fouls are becoming more and more like their once-extinct ancestors. This means that there is a possibility to save all of the creatures that are endangered and maybe even bring some back.
