Attorney General Loretta Lynch defends President Obama's gun control measures. She told a senate committee that Obama's recent executive actions on guns are lawful. Lynch believes that stricter gun control laws are essential because of the on going gun violence going on in the country. The conflict between Obama and the Congregational Republicans is said to be one of the biggest political fights in Obama's last year of office.

I agree with Obama's attempts for gun control measures in the country. Although gun control may not fully stop criminals, this attempt can save lives. When the Second Amendment was written, it was to maintain a free state and in order to do so, the people must retain the right to bear arms. President Obama added that these actions are "entirely consistent with the Second Amendment".
