Six Cleveland Police Officers fired after Use of excessive force By: Luis Ceja
After Investigating both the chase and the final shooting. Where the car was shot 132 times. Which is way to many obviously. The man in the car was shot would end up dying. This Investigation has taken 2 years which is ridiculous. They did finally come to the conclusion that the use of force was unessesarry which is a no brainer. There is no situation in which fire 132 shots into a civilian vehicle is ok. That alll aside here's the details. One officer at a previous time was charged with involuntary manslaughter but was equitted. Which is ridiculous that he goes unpunished for such a crime. Then 6 officers were fired with many more on administrative leave. Now that's all fine but there's more to this story a group or union for the cops said they will be rehired that this firing of officers was an injustice. There leader said the media has influenced this case and that the came to an emotional conclusion not a reasonable one. He does realize this took 2 years so I'm pretty sure there thourough and reasoned. Second your a union and I know you protect workers but you should never protect bad ones. Thank You
