Bubble Runner - Quentin Noble 2

Today, a man running in  a bubble was rescued. How is that possible? It was an inflatable bubble that is man powered and he was running to Bermuda on the ocean. He claimed he was running for world peace, But the runner barely made it anywhere before he got caught in the gulf stream. In this article by Ralph Ellis on CNN, it shows a cool rescue mission and how america has progressed.
This article shows how America Has progressed by this creative idea that no one would have imagined in the early 20th century. I knew previously that these bubbles existed, but I did not know people ran across the ocean in them. I find it interesting that this made the news. I also am looking forward to finding more and more people taking this challenge.

  1. This is a cool way to raise awareness for a cause, but it also seems kind of dangerous.

  3. this is very dangerous, i mean you could get lost and what if no one finds you and you and trapped in a bubble. i mean yeah it seems cool, theres other ways to get people's attention and show the awareness cause. but definitely not like this. sharon cordon 4th period

  4. This is crazy! It's a great way to get attention, but I agree with Sharon, he could have found a less dangerous way to do it. But at least this man is standing up for what he believes in.
