Patience Henderson 1st Period: 2 Bikers Suspected in Attack on SUV Driver in Custody

Two bikers purposely created a crash between an SUV driver and a motorcycle gang. Lien was on his way back from celebrating his wedding anniversary with his wife and 2-year-old daughter when dozens bikers went past him. A motorcycle got in front of Lien and slowed down causing Lien to bum its rear tire slighting injuring the rider. When Lien tried to stop the angry bikers surrounded his vehicle, hitting it and spiking his tires. One of the riders opened Lien's door, police spokesman Sgt. Carlos Nieves said. Lien drove off with his door slightly open, but further down the road, traffic backed up, cutting off his path, and allowing the motorcyclists to corner him. A biker, who police identify as Chance, smashed the driver's side window with his helmet. Biker Reginald Chance, who police identify as the man seen in a video pounding his shiny helmet against the SUV, turned himself in Friday. He is also suspected of being involved in the beating of its driver Alexian Lien, police said.
Robert Sims, who also turned himself in Friday, can be seen also going after the SUV, police said. He has been charged with attempted assault, gang assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

This is crazy, this all started because some motorcyclist I felt wanted to show out because they were in such a large group. The rider should have never pulled in front of the SUV and all of this would have never happened. Personally I feel that Lien did the right thing with his wife and children in the car I wouldn't have backed down at all either. I applaud him for his courage, he did what he felt was safest for him and his family.
