Michelle Zuniga : Day after bullying session, a suicide

A day after his son's death , Jordan,  his father posts a video seeking for answers on his Facebook page."The suicide note he left stated that he was tired of life ... and that he was doing this because he was being bullied at school," Lewis said in a seven-minute video posted to his Facebook account on Thursday, hours after the death. Lewis said he learned Thursday that Carterville High School in Carterville, Illinois, had shown the sophomore class a video on Wednesday about bullying. "And, at the end of the video, that the kid that was being bullied went home and committed suicide," he said.School was never notified of any bullying.

How long must this bullying have taken place? Why didn't any one reach out after that video?! I mean, I would assume you would become persuaded to stop and help others. If  at least one person would have taken interest that kid could be alive. dId his father notice any signs before the day of the incident? There are usually signs. I believe schools need to take more actions against bullying . Just showing just a video about bullying won't stop it.

  1. Honestly I don't believe anyone besides the kid himself is to blame for his suicide. His life, his choices. Sure it's horrible he was being bullied but he could've reached out to other people or choose any other path besides suicide. He just wanted the easy way to end it all and he did it, freeing himself but hurting others. It's a horrible thing for the people who knew him but in the end he made the choice.
