Seven death row inmates in Florida sued the state, stating that the be three-step lethal injection process violated the constitution on cruel and unusual punishment. The three-step process includes pentobarbital and midazolam. Midazolam is said to be extremely painful however, Mitsy Cash, a Florida Department of Corrections said that one of test inmates experienced no pain at all. Four of the seven inmates have hearing scheduled in Jacksonville federal court on November 6.
Analysis: This article was written by David Adams and Kevin Gray. It was written on October 28, 2013. I think that this article was written to the general public of America. The main idea of this article was to show how the constitution might have been violated. I think that if it has been violated the people who have already been using it should be punished with the same crime but if it has no pain at all I think that they should use it. I think that maybe the prisoners wanted some more time before they leave and maybe they are just making a big fuss . Either way the constitution should not be violated no matter what.

Felicia Padilla 5th period- unfortunately, the constitution isn't really as helpful as people are led to believe it is. Basically your future lies in the people who interpret the constitution, not the paper itself. One person might consider this injection cruel and unusual while someone else may not.
