On Sunday, October 27, the New York police revealed an unfortunate killing of 4 kids( ages 1 through 9) and a mother occurred. Police say that the cousin of the dead woman's husband, Mingdong Chen, was the killer. Chen was staying at the family's apartment for a week before the deadly event occurred. He has been charged with first degree murder and the criminal possession of a weapon. Five people and two dogs were found dead at the scene. All the stab wounds were to the upper body killing them all on the spot.
This story is so crazy. It seems to me that the cousin was mentally unstable. It is really sad that he could kill his own family. I'll never understand why these things happen. I am glad that justice has been served and that he has been charged criminally for this disastrous event.

This is so scary. I know that New York is a dangerous city, but who would've thought you could be that unsafe in your own home? At least the killer is now being punished for his actions. I can only hope that there are not many more people like this in NYC or anywhere.
