Leslie Kelly: Man who ranted about zombies shot and killed by California homeowner
This is a really weird story. Apparently, this young guy, 22-year-old Paul Michael Bracamontes, got a bit caught up in all the zombie apocalypse buzz. He started screaming in a stranger's backyard, making threats to the family inside and claiming that more were coming to do them harm, people that authorities are certain do not exist. Prior to this, Bracamontes had attended a party where he ranted to his relatives about the zombies. Woah there. The homeowner, in fear of his life and his family's safety, killed Bracamontes and is not being charged on the grounds of self defense. I feel really bad for everyone involved. I mean, sure you read the title to this article and it seems almost laughable but when you really think about it, this man was probably really sick. And so young. And his killer, presumably just a normal civilian who was scared for his family, has to live with what he did for the rest of his life.
