Disney gone wrong--Morgan Brown 5th

So Disney World is suppose to be the place where dreams are made. Where no matter how old a person may be, once they walk through the gates of the park they begin to feel like a child again. Disney world is a place full of kindness and imagination.

Well apparently Disney World isn't as such a safe place as most believe it to be. Sunday night deputies were called to Epcot, a park in Disney World, after reports of a man beating a employee with a metal pipe. The man that was allegedly beating the employees is Austin Dan Van Hill, age 24. Hill faces charges of aggravated battery, battery, and felony battery because of his arrest Sunday night. Hill was arrested while he was drunk and bleeding from his knees, hands, and wrist according to the sheriff's office of Orange County. Hill injured not one but three Disney park employees. Michael Connelly, Timothy Beltley, and Jessica Brown were the three employees that were assaulted by Hill.

So pretty much I feel as if Disney World is still a great place for family and friends.  The event that occurred just seems as an unlucky thing of faith. This is why we people shouldn't get wasted or drunk hard core if any at all. It could possibly end in a dangerous situation not only for that person but the people around them.

  1. In my opinion, this story shows just how corrupted our world has become so much so that a place thought to be so wonderful and pristine can be the setting for such terrible and cruel offenses.

  3. The man wasn't in his right mind when he did this. It's plausible that he didn't even know he was in Disney World. But this whole situation is just terrible.

  4. Alcoholic beverages are sold around Disney World, especially in Epcot. But I think that his violent behavior probably stems from something other than just his being drunk- he may have been angry with one of the employees he hurt.

  5. I think that people need to calm down and think about their actions. Disney is still a family oriented place but some people just act crazy all the time no matter where they are ! Comment by Rhyann lee 5th
