Man didnt breathe for a month by Madi Frampton
A father of 2 little girls at the age of 42 has went from oxygen being pushed into him to getting prepared for a marathon! He went from a simple flu that turned into a bacterial infection and by
the time he got medical attention he was barely alive! He had developed ARDS and it was slowly but surely killing him. His kidneys, liver, and bone marrow was failing leaving his family with
little hope for success. Even though forcing air into his lungs was technically doing more harm then good the doctors kept trying. Leading to the treatment ECMO. He was on ECMO for 4 weeks when he was only supposed to be on it for one week. Once the man recovered he quickly got himself back into training and ran better than ever

I find this story really interesting. It is always great to hear of someone overcoming such a hardship.
ReplyDeleteWow. This must have been such a strain on the family. Some sicknesses and diseases are like that and you can't find out till its too late or almost. This is really scary
