And ice wall has blown onto the shores of Lake Erie from a large storm over the Great Lakes. It was caused by strong winds and currents. I chose this article because I had never heard of an event like this before. Having icy roads is one thing, but having literal chunks of ice block your way, well that's just a whole new level. This article came from CNN, which I trust as a generally unbiased source.
There were warning against traveling to certain areas during the ice storm just as there were warnings against plain travel just after 9/11.
