Sarah Childs- 15 year old girl kidnapped

Summary: One Tennessee teacher who authorities believe abducted a student was conducting research on teen marriage. "That is an issue that we have some major concerns of because it might potentially speak to his intentions for her," Tennessee Bureau of Investigation spokesman Josh DeVine said of Tad Cummins. The spokesman said he could not get into specifics. Officials also are trying to authenticate a statement made by the student's family, DeVine said. Elizabeth Thomas had said she was going away for the day but that someone should call police if she wasn't home by evening, a relative claimed. Thomas, 15, has been missing since March 13, weeks after another student reported seeing her and Cummins kissing, police say. Cummins, who had taught Elizabeth in a forensics class at a high school southwest of Nashville, is charged with kidnapping her. An Amber Alert was issued for Elizabeth on March 14, the day after a sheriff's department had declared her missing.
Analysis: This article was published by Madison Park from CNN on March 22, 2017. She uses a third person point of view to convey an unbiased point of view. Additionally, I had absolutely no preview knowledge of this topic, so this article made me realize how important our domestic security is. This article was written for any citizen of the United States who is able to help search for this poor girl. It was published for an informative purpose of enabling the people to learn more about this kidnapping and get much needed help to find her. This entire article could link directly to the terrifying kidnapping of slaves during the 18th century. These salves were forcefully taken from their homes and moved to a new place without any privileges such as this young teen is enduring now.
