Summary: The National School Lunch Program has been around for 71 years. It operates in public schools as well as some private schools and child-care institutions. This program provides nutritionally balanced low-cost or free lunches to children every day. Congress authorized the reimbursement of snacks served to children enrolled in after-school programs. Under these programs, any child at a participating school may purchase a meal. Local schools set the prices for meals and offer a sliding scale to students depending on family income. Children from families with incomes at or below 130% of the poverty level are eligible for free meals.

Analysis:   This was posted on September 10th 2015 . I feel like this is such a good corporation because it has helped so many kids and continues to help them today. Prior to reading this article i had not known abut this but I think it was written to let the "nutritionally needy" people know that there is an organization out there to help. This can synthesize to every school nation wide that cares about nutrition for kids
