Elijah Macias- Recent leaks could constitute 'espionage'

Summary: On Monday, during a public hearing before the House of Intelligence Committee, FBI Director James Comey suggested that the recent leaks of classified information to the press are not only criminal- they likely fit into the definition of espionage. The leaks in question are classified personal information about the former White House National Security adviser Micheal Flynn. James Comey says that he hopes that the culprits of this crime are brought to justice.

Analysis: The article didn't go into the contents of the leaks very much, for good reason probably, so I initially didn't see the severity in Comey's claim. But any classified document that is leaked to the media ought to be some sort of espionage, i mean it's classified for a reason! I know classified information sounds juicy and interesting to many, but it is kept hidden to keep us safe..... I hope. The leakers deserve to be brought to justice and to face their actions in prison.
This can be connected with the growth of espionage between U.S and Russia during the cold war, most notably the leaking of the Manhattan Project documents to communist Russia by Soviet spies.
I know this leak doesn't seem to be very severe, but this incident may spark leaks that threaten national security if we don't contain this.
