mackenzie bessner- man charged with murder after EMT killed by ambulance

A bystander filmed as to what looked like a terrible incident happening in New York. An ambulance is driving through the streets but looks to be dragging a person trapped under the vehicle. Yadiro Arroyo, 44, was an emergency medical technician who died in the incident on Thursday night.
Jose Gonzalez has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter and first-degree robbery. The incident started when Gonzalez hopped onto the ambulance while it was on its way to respond to a call. a motorist informed the driver that there was a man on their bumper. Arroyo and her partner decided to get out of the vehicle to investigate and that is when Gonzalez hopped in the driver's seat. He put it in reverse and ran over Arroyo.

When I read this article, I was very startled. It confuses me why this person first of all, jumped on the back of the ambulance then hopped inside and ran over the worker. I think this shows a bit of the inhumanity of this world and it is very sad to hear about it. I am praying for her family, friends and coworkers. I think this article is important because it informs people from all over the country about what is going on in our everyday lives. This article was published by CNN and it is a very reliable news network.

  1. This is horrible. Our first responders, police officers, and military deserve our utmost respect for risking their lives to keep us safe. It is disgusting that someone would murder people whose living is to save others. Also, the EMTs were responding to a call, who knows what the fate of the person that was having the life threatening medical emergency?

  2. This is terrible. It's crazy how people just think they can do all these terrible things and would go as far as murder someone. - Skyler Tepedino
