"Prince death: What we know" - Leah Messinger (period 1)

  On Thursday morning at 10:07 a.m, music icon Prince was pronounced dead at 57 years old. Prince was last seen when he was dropped off at his home in Chanhassen, Minnesota. He was found the next morning by a staff member who called 911 only to learn that he was unresponsive. There is no clear explanation for the cause of his death, but investigators are continuing their investigation with an autopsy. The results may take numerous days or weeks but they will be shared with the public as soon as they are revealed.
  Prince's death struck an emotional chord in hearts all around the world. His music was representative of the culture of his generation and was revered by the generations following him. He will be remembered for his iconic music that inspired many. The nation has come together in response to his death because of the effect that his music had in creating a unique American sound.

  1. I was very surprised and shocked by the death of Prince, but I know that he will always be a musical icon and an inspiration. He will definitely be missed, but also remembered.
