The Strong Surviving Panda by Omar Rivera

Panda Mei Xiang is a panda living in the Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington. Mei Xiang has been a successful mother to Tai Shan, and has been healthier than Ling Ling, the panda whose five cubs all died after their birth during her more than 20 years at the zoo. Pandas are a very sensitive animal that's life conditions can be very critical explain the author. Most pandas don't live past adulthood. The U.S. is proud to be a nation with 1 out of 7 surviving pandas in the world. Panda bears are becoming more and more extinct as the days pass by an it's a very sad subject.

I have always thought pandas we one of the most precious and astonishing animals there's ever been. We are very lucky to have an endangered specie in our nation. I hope our zoologist keep treating Mei Xiang and Tai Shan in good hands.
