Latin American Drug Cartels, Grace Young

Today I read an article written by Adam Clark Estes on yahoo news about Latin American drug cartels. The cartels are not only getting harder to catch, but getting smarter in their ways of transporting illegal drugs. They are now not only going through the Pacific Ocean, but also the Caribbean Ocean. The submarines can travel 10,000 km. without coming up for air. Last year an estimated 129 tons of cocaine was brought through; They think 500 tons could be making by now. I think anything of that much value can be dangerous for not only the peopele involved with transport but in buying, handling, selling, ect. The End

  1. It's actually impressive the extent these people go through. I'm not saying it's right, but they are creative.

  2. If they just legalized drugs, then there would be no need to even have these drug cartels.

  3. The violence in Mexico because of the drug problems is absolutely insane and frightening. Some of it is even starting to happen in the U.S. In my opinion this is one of the biggest issues we face today.
