In January there will be a new governor that will effect 20 states. For some of the people effected by this they have to ask themselves: Does it matter that the new governor is in a different political party than the predecessor? The new governer, Tony Evers is replacing the 2 term republican Scott Walker. But recently there has been several bills put in place that may severely restrict Evers power.
This is similar to when there were different presidents in history and how the people reacted to having a new political party as the leader.
