SpaceX plans on developing work that will take them to mars. The rocket will be built in Los Angeles, bringing many jobs to the people there. Elon Musk, the ceo of the big falcon rocket, also plans on creating machinery for purposes on earth.
Just like this operation will bring jobs for locals, WW2 brought job opportunities for women. The building of spacecraft also relates to the space race with the Soviet Union because both wanted to be better than one another.
I think it’s crazy how technology has evolved and humans will soon be able to visit mars. Technology does has disadvantages but I’ll never fail to be impressed by the scientific purposes of it.

This is a great way to ensure jobs AND improve our technology and economy. It was clever to bring up the parallel between SpaceX and the women's employment boost in WWII-they are quite similar.
ReplyDeleteI think and any space-related discovery or advancement is interesting. Substances from mars could be brought back to Earth for inventions and such.
