Office buildings reducing their carbon footprint- Isabella Hambleton

Office buildings have started building more outside spaces and incorporating nature into their interior design. Also, businesses are trying to incorporate more energy efficient buildings and things for them to be able to produce more renewable energy than they consume. In New York, people were using wall plants as art decor and natural air filters. They are eventually trying to become more self sufficient and eventually produce more energy than they receive.
Our world is very over polluted and its a problem that needs to be fixed. For the past few years, we have been trying to improve our economy one step at a time. Hopefully our economy can improve so we can reduce pollution and carbon footprint.

  1. One good news out of all the bad news thats been going on recently. At the least these companies are now trying to do something to help our environment. Although this is just starting to occur, eventually these small changes and acts will lead to a bigger reform worldwide. I am glad that these businesses and companies are starting to take action to reduce the pollution we as a society have created.

  2. This is a problem that we need to counteract, but I don’t know if at current rates it will be fast enough to decrease footprints substantially. I think we’re kind of at a wall with development for green energy, and if it’s gonna get any more advanced we need to back it more. As of now I really don’t see it helping much but it’s uplifting to know people out there are trying to help the planet and fight for a cause they believe in.
