Survivors of the high school shooting in Parkland, Florida started back at school after spring break. The video attached with the article was very touching. The video displayed different clips of students talking about their feelings before, after, and during the first day back. It's amazing that all of these teenagers are there for each other in a time of need. At this school, new security regulations were being required. For example, all students were required to use clear backpacks in order to show the safety. I think that this is an invasion of privacy. I understand having thorough bag checks and metal detectors but I think that clear backpacks are unnecessary if you are having a bag check as well. However, I am glad that the school is taking security seriously now.
