Family Found Dead in River by Highway

Earlier this month, a family of four vanished on a road trip up the west coast. They were reported missing on April 8. This family of four had two small children, aged 9 and 12. Their car was seen on a neighbor’s surveillance camera leaving for the start of their trip. They were supposed to meet family in San Jose on April 6, but they never arrived. The same day, a vehicle matching the description of their car was seen going down an embankment into a river off the highway. The car has yet to be located due to weather and strong currents. The neighbor of the missing family spoke about their disappearance saying how it was difficult to think that this innocent family could be dead. Just recently the bodies of each family member have been recovered and found dead. There are no leads as to how what caused this terrible accident.

This is really frightening, and it’s so sad to see an innocent family suffer this way. These roads must be very dangerous, for this accident was just 30 miles north of another accident in which a family drove off a cliff. They remain missing. This can be compared to the treacherous journey of the Oregon Trail. West award expansion was an exciting time, but the journey to get to the frontier often ended in death.

  2. These type of events really scare me because there are no witnesses which makes it hard to prevent in the future if you can pinpoint what the problem was.
