Rose Hamid is a 56 year old flight attendant who silently protested during Trumps rally in Rock Hill, South Carolina. She was sitting behind Trump in the stands and stood up during the speech when Trump implied that Syrian refugees escaping the war were part of ISIS. During the rally Trump had suggested temporarily banning all Syrian refugees from entering the country. The supporters of Trump started chanting his name as directed by the campaign staff in the event of a protest, they also pointed at Hamid and the man next to her who stood up with her. As they were leaving the Trump supporters shouted at them. One even yelled "You have a bomb, you have a bomb". The Rock Hill Police Department told reporters that the campaign staff told police to escort out any one who caused a disturbance. After more protesters were taken out of the rally Trump commented on the protests. He said "There is hatred against us that is unbelievable". After the rally, the Council on American-Islamic Relations called on Trump and requested him to apologize.
I think that Hamid was right to stand up and protest what Trump said. Temporarily denying Syrian refugees is pointless, it won't prevent terrorists from entering the country. The Trump campaign has gone to great lengths to keep protests from erupting at the rallies.

This is disgusting. There is such a stigma around simply wearing a scarf around your head. His policy on denying Muslims to enter amwrica is the craziest thing I've heard. White people are responsible for many crimes, why aren't they being blocked out???? HM???????

I think it is awful that Trump tried to act like the victim in this situation. I hope Trump apologized to the Counsel on American-Islamic Relations of what he said.
