ISIS abductions in Deir Ezzor, Darby McMahon Pd#9

Since the begining of ISIS the city of Deir Ezzor has had major conflict and suffering. In the last few days the city has been through suicide bombings, mass abductions and arbitrary killings. On Sunday it was reported that at least 400 civilians were abducted by ISIS. It is known that they have been taken somewhere in the surrounding countryside. and it may be that they have been executed. On Monday, SANA reported that Syrias Foreign Ministry delivered letters around accusing ISIS fighters of breaking into homes, abducting and murdering innocent civilians.

It is hard to believe that people that live in these cities have to deal with things like ISIS on a daily basis, and to not know when and what could happen next. This article was written by Hamdi Alhkshali, CNN, and I believe that he did a very good job at presenting this terrible subject. The material was presented in a very serious and compassionate way, as to not upset people and get all of the facts across. These abductions that ISIS are conducting seem to me like how the KKK used to kidnap or abduct innocent black people, and the unjustice seen there. The main point is that something really needs to be done about ISIS, although i know it cannot be that simple. It makes me very sad to think about the cities that are under constant fear from this terrible group.
