David Bowie dies Paul Radke (5th)

Summary- Music icon David Bowie who wrote the famous songs "fame," "Heroes" and "lets dance," died Sunday at the age of 69, He died on Friday, the same day that he released an album called "Blackstar."

Analysis- David Bowie was the man who shaped modern rock and turned rock into what is known today. He had been suffering from cancer for the past 6 months which no one had known about till after he died and I can respect that he did not want to tell his fans that but it was also very sudden that he died which caught everyone by surprise. As the person who shaped modern day rock he was a very important figure in US history. David Bowie was a wonderful man who lived his life to the fullest and he will be an artist who will never be forgotten.
