Have the Justices Gone Gun-Shy? Rodney McDonald 9

Summary: The Supreme Court Justices have decided recently to not take up a lot of cases such as Friedman v. Highland Park that have to do with gun control. They're not really sure how to decide in the recent gun control debates.

Analysis: This gun control debate is very controversial. On one hand people need guns to protect themselves from others with guns. But on the other we should take guns away from everybody so no crazy person can shoot up any place. We've fought to keep guns in the American Revolution Era but know vast amounts of people are trying to get guns away from everybody. Though I think no one will ever get guns away from everybody even if you make it illegal, though they can try.

  1. It's quite inevitable for people not to have guns because the black market does exist but laws should be more strictly forced in the gun-free zones.

  2. With the recent violonce involving guns, I completely understand why there needs to be gun control. However, there is already a large number of guns distributed and I think it will be nearly impossible to completely control all use of guns.
