Gun Free Zones

There are two pro-gun groups that are trying to end Gun Free Zones.  They have planned a mock mass shooting to take place near the UT campus.  Also during this "shooting" they will have an open carry demonstration.  This demonstration is being hosted by Come And Take It Texas and DontComply.com.  They believe that Gun Free Zones are killing us.  There goal is to pressure politicians to ban these Gun Free Zones.  Matthew Short said, "That actors will be 'shot' with cardboard weapons, and that there will be fake blood and gun noises from bullhorns.  Some actors will pose as rescuers who also have cardboard weapons."  These two groups' arguments are that when a mass shooter comes to a Gun Free Zone, they have no way of protecting themselves which then is killing more people.
I can see both sides to this argument.  Because in amendment two, it states that we have the Right to Bear Arms.  So these two pro-gun groups are right, they should have the right to carry a gun to protect themselves at all times.  But the other side of the argument is that at peaceful places, like church, a gun would be unsettling and out of place.
