Amazon has stopped sellling 97% of the hoverboards they usually offer due to reports of the hoverboards catching on fire. This article focuses on a particular brand, Swagway (classic lmao) who's hoverboards Amazon has stopped selling. Amazon is asking for proof that the hoverboards are safe and aren't going to spontaneously combust before they start selling them again.
I thought about this for at least five minutes and actually this reminds me of nothing in American history because there were no hoverboards in the past.

This reminds me of the Emancipation Proclamation and how it was a fundamentally great idea, but didn't really work to actually free the slaves. It required a few more components before the idea of freedom of slaves could be put in motion. I believe the hover board will be in that same boat and still needs a few more components before it can become fundamentally sound.
ReplyDeleteA+ for the connection! Thats so true though! It's a great idea that a lot of people will like although it doesn't end up working and will be fixed later.
DeleteMade in china... Thats your problem right there, fast, cheap labor.
