The United States has a major problem with gun violence, and specifically gun violence carried out by police officers. One reason that this problem hasn't been dealt with is that there is very little information on it. There is a restriction on the Center for Disease Control and Prevention placed by congress.
However this might change soon as there are many protesting for its removal.
