Middle class no longer dominates in the U.S.

Summary: America's middle class no longer dominates, because it now comprises less than half (43%) of the nation's population. Americans live in households earning between two-thirds to two times the nation's median income. In 2014 middle class ranged from $41,900 to $125,600 for a three person household.
Analysis: Middle class has dominated America since the 1970's. The steady incline of the middle class is a sign that Americans ares shifting to the upper and lower classes, another sign of income inequality.
I think it's very interesting you chose this as your current event. It is most definitely the definition of a 'current event' and has definitely taught something I did not know (: It's nice to see that the United States' population is advancing economically.
