Today, many schools in the Los Angeles area were shut down due to the possible threat of a bomb going off. It is said that it was just an email. However, faculty did not take this lightly due to the recent events in San Bernardino and didn't want to risk the students' lives. After a very thorough investigation, schools are scheduled to reopen tomorrow.
This scare could have easily been another gun related tragedy like the shooting at Sandy Hook. Thankfully, the staff was well alert about the situation. I feel these kinds of issues are hard to resolve because there is no real solution
