Internet hackers’ rebuttal to Trumps immigration Policies; Lauren Bush; 9th

On Wednesday, "hacktivist" collective Anonymous attacked the website for Trump Tower in New York. The group posted a YouTube video warning against Trump's plan to stop Muslim immigration to the U.S. The man in the video says, ”This policy is going to have a huge impact… This is what ISIS wants. The more Muslims feel sad, the more ISIS feels they can recruit them...You have been warned, Mr. Donald Trump.”
That same day on Twitter, a user called @FibsFreitag posted what looked like an attempt to take down the Trump Tower site. It read, "trumptowerny.com nearly down. we need more laz0rs! #DDoS #OpTrump #OpFire.” By Friday, the group announced, ”Trump Towers NY site taken down as statement against racism and hatred.”
I chose this article because it foreshadows what would happen if Trump was to be elected president of the United States. To already be stirring up so many arguments during the election is not a good reflection of his leadership. Similarly to how the nation was divided during the Civil War, our current nation would be (mentally not physically) separated by the overwhelming difference in moral and political views.

The Puritans came to America to escape religious persecution. For Trump to be putting a ban on all Muslim immigration is going against the ideology that this country was founded on.

  1. If Trump is elected, things worse than hacking will occur protesting his presidency. This is disheartening and also quite scary. It's quite ironic how his slogan is "Make America Great Again."

    1. Yeah since it's getting more and more apparent that "make america great again" means going back to not letting catholics and jews vote and making african-americans, mexican-americans, and asian-americans do all the physical work without getting paid the proper amount of wages.
