Oil prices plunge while stocks fall, Nora Bracy 5th pd.

Stocks have fallen sharply today, and the oil prices continue to collapse. Crude oil fell to a seven year low. The DOW falls by 1.7%. There is lots of turmoil in the bond market recently, giving investors quite a scare. People are hoping that the Federal Reserve will raise rates on the 16th of December, hopefully causing stocks "to pop."

Stocks are really interesting to me. They fluctuate so much, and recently they've been going down, but hopefully they'll start an upward ascent soon enough. The oil prices changing is also really interesting. I feel like prices fluctuate, stock and oil, in cycles. According to the article, this happened in 2013 as well. It reminds me of the gas prices changing over the years. It also reminds me of the Panic of 1857, and the economy drastically changing and such.
