Chipotle Poisoning? -Ava Cosentino

Summary:
Several people, mostly students form Boston University all became cases in the gastrointestinal illness break out originating from a Chipotle Mexican Grill Restaurant in Boston. After eating at the restaurant, many students became ill and have been instructed to stay home, and for all people on campus to make sure they wash their hands and take necessary health precautions to squash the spread of this. Officials say that this was not related to the most recent outbreak of E-Coli in several states due to the chain restaurant.

Analysis:
The constant outbreaks of illnesses like this that stem from some of America's favorite restaurant, scare me and worry plenty of others. This recent situation can be linked to all of the past breakouts of E-Coli that have left several people intensely sick, which then could result in death. This event goes to show that we need to be having packaged food (that especially winds up being sold in a restaurant or store), better checked, tested, and inspected to prevent future, similar, happenings.

  3. This is scary to think about, because these things happen more often than they should and you can never predict which restaurant or brand the next illness will come from. I hope Chipotle deals with their problems fast and prevents this from happening again.
