Nina Pham is 26 year old nurse originally from Ft Worth but now living on the M streets in Dallas has been tested positive with the ebola virus. She worked at Presbyterian Hospital and was a care giver for Duncan, the first man who had ebola in Dallas who died last week. She began running a fever on Friday evening and drove herself to the hospital. On sunday it was confirmed that she has ebola. She had a blood transfusion today from Brantley who is an ebola survivor. Hopefully she will be able to overcome this horrible virus.
The ebola outbreak in Dallas is very scary, but at the same time I feel confident that our doctors can figure out a way to stop this. The outbreak reminds me of the Black plague. It feels as scary and I know how contagious this virus is. Luckily, we do not have many infected people and for those who are around the virus, are taking extreme precautions. As americans we need to come together and unite so we can get through this panic together. Our country has done it many times before, such as in 9-11 and JFK shooting an we can do it again and get through this together.Click here for the full article
