'Blood moon' will be a sight to behold, weather permitting, (Haley Hill 4th)

'Blood moon' will be a sight to behold, weather permitting

Ben Brumfield and Todd Borek for CNN

Tuesday morning, early, at about 1:58 and lasting until 4:24, the moon will undergo a total lunar eclipse. However, this one is special. It will turn the moon a bright reddish orange color and DALLAS, Denver, and Los Angeles are considered to be optimum places to view this. Within a year and half, North Americans will be able to see this four times, however it usually doesn't happen this often.
The prime watching time will be at 3:45 am tuesday, so set your alarm clocks people!

  1. This is such a cool event! I hope to see it. I am surprised at the frequency with which we should be able to see the moon as such.
