Rebuilding in West, Tx - Heather L. Harris 1st

AFTER THE ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE WEST, TX EXPLOSION, A CHAIRMAN OF U.S. CHEMICAL SAFETY BOARD SAYS THE 2013 FERTLIZER PLANT BLAST "SHOULDNT HAVE HAPPENED". THIS INCIDENT THAT KILLED 15 PEOPLE AND WOUNDED 226 WAS PREVENTABLE SAYS CHAIRMAN RAFAEL MOURE-ERASO. THE PURPOSE OF THIS STATEMENT WAS TO PUT THE BLAME ON THE COMPANY AND GOVERNMENT REGULATORS. THE REPORT STATES MCLENNAN COUNTY HAD NO EMERGENCY REPSONSE PLAN AND TEXAS HAD NO FIRE CODE. THE U.S. HAD 1,351 AMMONIUM NITRATE FACILITIES AND FEDERAL GUIDANCE NEEDS TO BE MET.
I FEEL THAT HAD THE GOVERNEMENT AND COUNTY TAKEN MORE PRECAUTIONS THIS EXPLOSION COULD HAVE BEEN AVIODED. BUT WHAT IS DONE IS DONE AND NO AMOUNT OF INFORMATION WILL BE ABLE TO BRING BACK THE PEOPLE WHOSE LIVES WERE LOST THAT DAY.http://www.cnn.com/2014/04/22/us/west-texas-fertilizer-plant-explosion-investigation/index.html?hpt=us_c1
