We often think of a recall as a manufacturer finding some poison lurking within their product and then banning it from the shelves until it's removed. Kraft's situation is a little different. Their problem is not with the product itself, but with the packaging. 96,000 pounds of hot dogs have the danger of being packaged wrong, given normal hot dog labels when they are in fact "cheese dogs," I product I have never consumed and can only imagine. Despite this, I can infer that these wieners have cheese in them, a product of milk. And for a consumer that is lactose-intolerant. This mis-packaging could be dangerous. For their sake, I hope this is cleared quickly.
Those hot dogs are probably poison themsevles. I've always been iffy of Oscar Meyer.
ReplyDeleteThe time-consuming and resource-consuming inconvenience that recalling 96,000 hot dogs caused underscores how paramount thoroughness and sedulousness is when completing any task.
ReplyDeleteAt least kraft has admitted it's mistake. although, cheesedogs sounds really awesome right now.
ReplyDeleteWow! Cheese dogs. That is truly horrifying. Although, for most people who buy regular Kraft hot dogs, cheese dogs might be a wonderful surprise.
