On the night of her junior prom, what is supposed to be a special day, 16-year old honor student Maren Sanchez was brutally slashed in the stairway at her school. The teachers and first responders tried to save her life but she was pronounced dead shortly after the attack. A knife was found at the scene and the alleged killer is being held at a mental facility. It is a suspicion that he killed Maren because she refused his invitation to the prom.

This is so sad. Especially with prom being right around the corner for us booker t students. It is so upsetting that this poor student was senselessly killed on the day of the prom. It would be even more tragic if this student decided to kill his classmate just because she denied him accompaniment to the prom. I hope he faces the right consequences because this crime CANNOT go unpunished
Oh my gosh, this is really frightening. I don't understand why the presence of violence has been increasing, especially among the youth of the nation.
