Recently lethal storms have ripped through states such as Mississippi and Alabama. The death toll has risen to 19 and continues to grow. I know my sister in Arkansas has been effected by these storms as well getting emails such as "Life threatening storms. Seek shelter immediately."
There isn't much to this story, however I think something should be done about the lack of shelter provided to citizens in areas so greatly effected by natural disaster. Building shelters and providing secure basements should be at higher priority in order to prevent losing so many lives.
