A therapist working with the visually impaired, a doctor, and a teen with aspirations to win a scholarship through a singing competition were violently gunned down in from of a jewish community center in Kansas by a man notorious for his hatred. Frazier Glenn Cross was said to be affiliated with hate groups and was said to be know as a long time white supremacist.

Response:
This story is incredibly sad and makes me incredibly angry. Though we cannot deny that people like Cross still exist in our world it is just hard for me to accept that they are still out their creating havoc on innocent people. My heart goes out to the families of the people that were targeted by this man and I hope that he meets justice for what he did.

  1. I agree with you. It is so sad and anger-inducing that things like this still go on in our world. I would love to think that we have come far enough to respect all of our fellow humans, but things like this turn that thought around.

  2. It amazes me that hate crimes still take place during this day and age. The ironic things is that the victims weren't Jewish. It's insane to think that my mother grew up going to the JCC where the shooting took place. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Kansas City Jewish Community. I hope that the shooter gets the punishment he deserves.
