After waiting 10-20 minutes in line to receive their crab legs at their local “Meteor Buffet” In Huntsville, Chequita Jenkins began beating John Chapman. The two attacked each other with plates and serving tongs just because people were taking more than their fair share. Chapman was charged with disorderly conduct, while a Jenkins was charged with third-degree assault.
This article is directed towards those who go to public vicinities such as this, as you never know when there may be over-aggressive people like Jenkins and Chapman. This article can bring awareness to the fact that not everywhere is safe, even places you may often visit with your family. The author, Ruth Brown, attracts the audience to an apparent funny tone at the beginning of the article, however closer to the end, she reports with a more serious tone, showing the reader that this was, in fact, a serious matter and warning.
In a nation where crab legs are clearly essential to the diets of those such as Jenkins and Chapman, we may need to prepare ourselves for future attack, just as America had to always prepare for attack by Axis Powers before we joined WWII. Military before the attack on Pearl Harbor was significantly increased in order to protect America from potential attacks by Hilter or Japan.
