This weekend, the father of one of the victims of the Sandy Hook shooting in 2012. Jeremy Richmond was the father of 6-year-old Avielle Richmond and many described him as a devoted father. The Sandy Hook shooting took 26 lives on December 14, 2012, but we never got a look at the lives it effected in the wake of such a horrible day. The effects of this were immeasurable, causing ripple effects that lasted 7 years later. Similar events have happened recently, such as a survivor of the Parkland shooting also committing suicide in recent days.
This relates to history because it is the forth deadliest shooting to ever happen in American history. The audience is anyone who is related to the shootings, and to reach out for help even when you feel hopeless. The purpose is to inform, and reach out to anyone who might be feeling the same way. The importance of this topic is so great it spans into every aspect of life, and it effects countless lives.
Second time hearing this man. My prayers go out to his remaining family and I hope God has mercy on his soul.
