Daviah Harrison-To help fight vaping, schools look to their own students
This article was written by Michael Nedelman and was last updated on March 18,2019. Schools are now becoming more strict and installing vape detectors in bathrooms while also taking disciplinary actions. Middle and high schools in California are now turning to students to talk about vaping in order to help their peers. Hearing about drugs come from people that are your age, and not adults is more beneficial and students could actually take their advise.
I like how there are programs for students to help their peers and friends instead of having adults lecture about it. Throughout the years, drug use has almost always been a problem for teens and I feel like this could be a good step to take in order to lower the number of teens who contribute to these numbers.

Vaping is dumb but I feel like vapists aren't going to listen to anyone at this point. There has been an established connection between nicotine use and cancer for decades now. If people are starting new addictions with full knowledge of the consequences, they really are dumb.
