worlds happiest country new report
https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/worlds-happiest-countries-united-nations-2019/index.html
the world happiness report, which was released this sunday by the sustainable development solutions network of the united nations revealed that finland is the happiest country in the world for the second year in a row. the census ranks countries on six key variables, well being, income, freedom, trust, healthy life expectancy, social support and generosity. the report says finland, also has the happiest immigrants, saying it isnt about the finnish dna, but instead how they live. the top 10 happiest countries included some like new zealand, austria, sweeden, iceland, the neterlands, and canada, with the u.s in 19th, 5 spots lower than in 2017. part of the reason is because of addiction and depression in the u.s, especially in the past few years, along with weaker social connections. I thought this article was very interesting, because it showed that the happiest countries are not neccicarily born happy, but are a practiced way of life.
