Henry Haas- Iran and nuclear deals

Trump has been previously noted to have quite the critique for the current deal in place between the US and Iran. The deal states that Iran’s economic sanctions are lifted, at the cost of curbing their as of now nonexistent nuclear program. France, a pivotal force in the signing of the deal, has attempted to edge the US into staying in the deal, however little is known as to why as far I as I could find.

In my opinion this deal, while certainly flawed in some ways, has its benefits as well. While I am all for a reform, I find it a bit hard pressed of the government to completely have away with it, as once that happens it will then be up to them to create a new functioning system. There inlies my issue with the problem at hand. I just don’t want them to wait too long to put a system into place if they do away with the old one. Some say that Iran cannot currently put any sort of nuclear weapon together, but that hasn’t been confirmed nor denied. Hopefully it works out smoothly but this is America. Whew boy.
