whopping 100,000 16- and 17-year-olds have preregistered to vote in the Golden State since a law enacted in 2016 gave young people the opportunity to sign up to vote before they are eligible.This is closely related to the 26th amendment when the legal voting age was lowered from 21 to 18

I believe that the voting age should be lowered because we work and pay taxes so why can't we vote? If the age was lowered before then they can lower it again.
ReplyDeleteI think the voting age should be lowered because if teenagers are legally constrained by the law, required o go to school, etc, we should have an opinion in who is elected
