A man from Michigan is now out on bail after he allegedly fired his shotgun at a teen who stopped at his house to ask for directions.He was charged with assault with intent to murder.The teen mother said she considered it a hate crime since the teen was black and the man was white.The young boy said he got lost on his way home from school so he knocked on some doors.Then he knocked on one door and a woman opened up yelling at him.He tried to explain that he just needed directions,but she didn’t listen next thing he knows a man pointed a gun a started firing at him.The young man himself was not injured.This story reminds me of the life of Emmett Till, this young man was 14 and black,though this young man was not killed he was wrongly accused because of the way he looked.
